The vision to establish a school was conceived by Mr. Alex Swatson and Mr. Emmanuel E Owusu while working at the Greenhil Preparatory School at Achimota in the year 1991. After much thought and prayer, the two founders agreed on the name "Victory Jil Preparatory School" with "Have faith in God" as motto. The school opened its doors to admit the first group of pupils totaling thirty-five on the 8th October, 1991 in compound-house called Emelia Bernasco Memorial House, Hse # 17, Ataa Saka Street.
As the school grew up, there was the need to relocate as the Emelia B Memorial House could not accomodate the yearly expansion. Therefore in 1994, the school moved to the Amanoo House compound at Achimota . behind old Melcom.
Furthermore, after years of operating, the school is now under a new ownership/Leadership with Mr. Geoffrey William Dodoo as the director, hence, Victory jil Academy as the current name of the school.
Victory Jil Academy is now located at Achimota ABC Hse # GE-370-8308, with "Have faith, Jesus is Lord" as the motto.

We have Pre-School which consist of Creche, Nursery and Kindergateen, we also have Primary and JHS

The Objectives of our Staff Members
My objective as a kindergarten teacher is to build-up what the learners know already and also help them acquire more learning skills as a learner.
Learners should be able to respond-to greetings, magic words,recite rhymes ,recognize things around them and be able to recite numbers from 1-10
To train and nurture the child with the best religious and moral standards to fit and contribute immensely to his or her community.
I will help students or learners in their acquisition of knowledge. Secondly I will also help to bring desired changes in students attitude, behavior and conduct. Lastly,I will Co-ordinate with teachers to help bring about academic and moral excellence in the school
